Affiliate Terms & Conditions

🔁 Returns, Cancellations & Commission Reversals

At Derma Organics, we value transparency and fairness in our affiliate relationships. To maintain the integrity of our program, please note the following policies regarding returns, cancellations, and non-delivered orders:

🛍️ Commission Reversals

  • Returned or Refunded Orders: If a customer returns a product or receives a refund for an order placed through your affiliate link, the commission earned on that sale will be reversed or deducted from your account balance. This practice is standard across affiliate programs to ensure commissions are based on completed sales.
  • Cancelled or Non-Delivered Orders: Commissions will not be paid for orders that are canceled by the customer or deemed non-deliverable. This includes instances where the customer provides incorrect shipping information or refuses delivery.
  • Return Allowance: In cases where a significant number of returns occur, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of your commissions as a reserve to cover potential future returns. This reserve will be released after a specified period, provided no additional returns are processed.

📅 Payout Terms

We believe in rewarding our affiliates fairly and on time. Here’s everything you need to know about how and when you’ll get paid:

  • Commission Payment Schedule
    Approved commissions are paid out once a month via [insert method, e.g. PayPal, direct deposit, etc.], after the 30-day holding period to account for returns and cancellations.
  • Holding Period
    To maintain accuracy and protect against returns or fraud, commissions remain in a “pending” status for x days after an order is marked as delivered. Once the holding period passes, your earnings move to “approved” and will be included in the next payout cycle.
  • Minimum Payout Threshold
    Affiliates must have a minimum of $x in approved commissions to receive a payout. If your account hasn’t reached the threshold, your balance will roll over to the following month until it does.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Ensure your payout details (PayPal email or banking info) are up to date in your affiliate dashboard.
  • Any reversed commissions (due to returned or cancelled orders) will be deducted before payout.
  • If we’re unable to process your payment due to incorrect information, your payout will be held until it’s updated.



 

 


📸 Content Usage Rights

By participating in the Derma Organics Affiliate Program, you agree to grant us permission to:

  • Repost and share your content (photos, videos, captions, reviews, etc.) that features Derma Organics products and includes your affiliate link or tag.
  • Use your content across our marketing channels, including (but not limited to) our website, email newsletters, organic social media, paid ads, and promotional materials.
  • Properly credit your account or name whenever we repost your content, unless requested otherwise.

📥 UGC That Gets Featured

We especially love:

  • Authentic, unfiltered experiences with our products
  • Before & after results, routines, or ingredient breakdowns
  • Honest reviews in your voice and style
  • Tagging @dermaorganics and using relevant brand hashtags.

 

⚠️ Termination Terms

While we’re excited to grow with our affiliates, we also want to maintain the integrity and alignment of our brand partnerships. As such, Derma Organics reserves the right to suspend or terminate affiliate accounts under the following conditions:

Grounds for Termination

  • Violation of Brand Guidelines
     Sharing misleading, false, or exaggerated claims about our products, or using unauthorized discount codes.
  • Inappropriate Content or Behavior
     Affiliates who promote hate speech, discrimination, illegal activity, or content that goes against our brand values will be immediately removed from the program.
  • Inactivity
     If an affiliate remains inactive (i.e., no clicks or sales) for 90 consecutive days, we may pause or terminate the account.
  • Spamming or Unethical Promotion
     Promoting affiliate links through spammy practices, fake accounts, or deceptive advertising methods is strictly prohibited.
  • Failure to Comply with Program Policies
     This includes repeated commission disputes, misuse of affiliate perks (such as personal use of referral links), or abuse of the return/reward system.

Notice & Process

  • We will attempt to notify you via email if we identify a potential issue. In most cases, affiliates will be given an opportunity to correct the issue before termination.
  • In cases of serious violations (e.g., fraud or misconduct), termination may be immediate and without prior notice.
  • Upon termination, any pending unpaid commissions will be reviewed and paid out at our discretion, excluding any sales that fall under return or cancellation terms.



 

 


🔒 Confidentiality

As a Derma Organics affiliate, you may receive access to exclusive, non-public information about our brand, products, promotions, upcoming launches, and internal strategies. By joining our program, you agree to the following confidentiality terms:

What Must Remain Confidential

  • Private Affiliate Materials
     Any unpublished content, commission structures, campaign briefs, or internal resources shared with you are for affiliate use only and may not be shared publicly or with competitors.
  • Exclusive Discount Codes
     Codes provided to you for affiliate use must only be shared through your approved platforms and must not be posted on coupon or discount code websites unless explicitly approved.
  • Product Launch & Campaign Details
     Information about upcoming product drops, marketing campaigns, or business updates must not be disclosed before official public announcements.

Your Responsibility

By participating in the affiliate program, you agree to:

  • Keep all confidential information secure and do not disclose it to any third party.
  • Use internal materials only for the purpose of promoting Derma Organics in good faith.
  • Notify us immediately if any confidential materials are compromised or misused.

Breach of Confidentiality

Any breach of this agreement may result in removal from the affiliate program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions. Legal action may also be pursued if proprietary information is shared or misused without consent.
